Cookies and Storage

  1. No advertising cookies. No analytics. No tracking.
  2. The app stores only what it needs to keep you signed in, remember your Ask conversation and remember a few choices you make on screen.
  3. That is why there is no cookie banner.

1. What we store

The NetQuiid app does not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's storage only for things you ask it to do:

  • Sign-in token (local storage): keeps you signed in. Removed when you sign out.
  • netquiid.ask.v1.[your account] and netquiid.ask.v1.[your account].previous (local storage): your current and last Ask conversation, so you can carry on after closing the app. Removed when you sign out.
  • netquiid.welcome.v1.[your account] (local storage): remembers that your welcome email has been dealt with, so the app does not ask again. Kept until you clear your browser data.
  • netquiid.sts.period (local storage): remembers which Safe-to-Spend period you picked (until payday, 7 days or month end). It holds no money figures. Kept until you clear your browser data.
  • tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3 (session storage): remembers your scroll position as you move between screens. Removed when you close the tab.

Our hosting and network providers may use strictly necessary security measures to protect the service from attacks.

3. Managing storage

Signing out removes your session and Ask conversations from the device. You can also clear site data for app.netquiid.com in your browser settings. If you do, you will need to sign in again.
